Industries’ industrial coatings have led the liquid storage and containment industry delivering long-term solutions to virtually every containment need.

Over 30 years ago, Protection Engineering started its business with the leading products in the corrosion prevention market. These products included cold applied pipeline tapes, hot coal tar enamel and Koppers Bitumastic coatings.  Protection Engineering continues to provide quality corrosion control and coating products to the pipeline, oil, gas, water and wastewater industries.  CIM has played an integral part in the success of Protection Engineering.   We offer the full line of CIM Protective Coatings.

CIM Industries

Chevron originally developed Chevron Industrial Membrane (CIM) in the early 1960’s. C.I.M. Industries purchased the product line from Chevron in 1988 and currently manufactures the product using the industry proven technology in their Houston, TX facility. CIM high performance coatings and linings form a continuous elastomeric coating able to withstand water and most chemical solutions. They are easily applied by squeegee, roller, trowel or sprayer and the liquid cures quickly to form a seamless polyurethane coating with tremendous strength and flexibility.
